We are a group of individuals that came together for one cause. To be a positive influence for our people in our village of Travesia, in Puerto Cortes, Honduras.

The purpose of this Organization is to establish a group in the city of Houston, TX which represents the village of Travesía in Puerto Cortes, Honduras. The idea and one of the purposes of the organization is to make events, parties, and other things to expose and promote the Garifuna culture and to help the people in Honduras with whatever they can. Also, to unite the people of the Garifuna community in Houston for positive objectives . I hope we can count on the support of all the people who like the idea. Even if the people are not from Travesia, or they are not Garifuna, but they want to support, they are also welcome. This is a Non-Profit Organization that is looking to make a difference, no matter how big or small. We are happy to serve and give back to our community.

Somos un grupo de individuos que se unieron por una causa. Ser una influencia positiva para nuestra gente en nuestro pueblo de Travesia, en Puerto Cortés, Honduras.

El propósito de esta Organización es establecer un grupo en la ciudad de Houston, TX, que representa el pueblo de Travesía en Puerto Cortes, Honduras. La idea y uno de los propósitos de la organización es hacer que eventos, fiestas y otras cosas expongan y promuevan la cultura garífuna y ayuden a la gente en Honduras con lo que puedan. También, para unir a la gente de la comunidad de Garifuna en Houston para los objetivos positivos. Espero que puedan contar con el apoyo de todas las personas que les gusta la idea. Aunque las personas no son de cruce, o no son garífunas, pero quieren apoyar, también son bienvenidas. Esta es una organización sin fines de lucro que está buscando hacer una diferencia, no importa cuán grande o pequeño. Estamos felices de servir y devolver a nuestra comunidad.
